Eagle’s Nest Ranch

We are raising funds to continue to offer Life Support for our nation’s heroes to take back what the enemy stole. We exist to be a support to veterans, first responders, their spouses and children so they will experience hope and healing. Many times their service can have an adverse effect on their emotional wellbeing due to trauma and invisible wounds. As an equine ministry rooted in God’s redeeming love and enduring promises, He can heal invisible wounds and make beauty out of ashes. It is our honor and privilege to serve them who willingly serve us in times of need.

As a non-profit that does not charge anyone coming to seek help, we rely on the financial support of those who believe in our mission. We hope you will join us by partnering with us to support those serving our country and community.

We have been receiving veterans who were previously homeless from a VA program for the last several years. Here is a testimony from one of the VA staff.

“I am a social worker employed at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Aurora, CO. I have been bringing veterans from our Homeless Program to Eagle’s Nest Ranch for at least 6 years. I can say with certainty that their program, Healing Horses for the Armed Forces, is one of the most effective programs I have seen in my 30 years of doing social work. Suzy and her staff are skilled at connecting our veterans with the horses at the ranch to help them gain insight about personal issues and make discoveries about themselves to help begin the process of healing trauma and emotional wounds.”
