Eagle’s Nest Ranch has been serving first responders and our armed forces, and their families, for over a decade. At the deepest level, we seek to help these heroes of the community process their own life events that damage hope and trust which are often compounded by the vicarious and cumulative trauma experiences that come with their service to the community. We are a Christ centered equine ministry rooted in God’s redeeming love and enduring promises. We believe He can heal invisible wounds and make beauty out of ashes – we’ve seen and experienced it time and again in our lives and even in many stories at the ranch. We also offer other opportunities for our heroes to come out and decompress, including with their families or their co-workers for events.
Our ministry does not charge anyone coming to us for help. The Lord has always had our backs, and our director has always put the ministry first in how she manages to keep the ranch running on a tiny budget. We also know that the Lord expects us to seek out the support of those who believe in our mission, to put in the effort to make sure we can continue to take great care of our program horses and our facilities so that our participants are offered the best experience we can provide and we can serve more people.
As a (volunteer) member of the board of this ministry, I promise personally that every donation will be stewarded faithfully for the ministry’s continued function and, hopefully, expanded services.
