After my family arrived in Zimbabwe the night before lockdown, we found ourselves not able to do our normal music career and with very little income. I approached Healing with Horses to swap riding lessons for my son to keep him active and connected, in return for me doing therapy sessions on the horses. While the world went crazy, I went inward to a safe place in a stable with the most honest beings I have have ever had the pleasure of working with. I found not only my own sanity and healing, but a path that would change the course of my life.
When lockdown lifted, we stayed in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe and I continued to study and practice holistic horse care in many modalities. Something I still learn from and practice professionaly. I love every second with these awesome Beings. I have witnessed and experienced deep healing with prefound connection on many levels with children and adults from being with horses, as well as from horses I work with. The benefits are mutual and divinely woven in our existence together.
I didn’t think I would love anything as much as music, till I put my hands on a horse and listened to their inner soul. It is a medicine and connection that treats both human and horse, and I will always do this work in my life after knowing the powerful transformations it brings in both sentient Beings.
