I have seen it first hand – the person with early onset dementia lighting up when he was around our horses; a child gaining confidence as she learns how to direct her horse; a veteran learning to be in-the-moment as he develops a partnership with his horse.
And it’s not just the clients we serve, it’s the benefit we get as volunteers. Many of us go away from spending time at Miracles feeling more centered; at peace.
Sharing Miracles in Motion with my friends, family and really anyone I meet, has become my passion. I’m always encouraging a visit to the farm as a way to start to understand the impact our horses can have. As a volunteer, I see it every session I help with. I so appreciate you considering helping Miracles in any way you can – spreading our message, visiting, attending our events, volunteering and/or donating.
