Support Our Organization

At Harmony Farm Creative Counseling, we believe healing doesn’t always require the “right words”—sometimes, it requires a heartfelt approach. Serving children, adolescents, and families across central Kentucky Bluegrass, our child and adolescent outpatient mental health program provides a safe harbor for those navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, or neurodivergence. One aspect of our program includes thoughtfully and professionally facilitated mental health sessions with horses.
Many arrive feeling overwhelmed, lost, or suffering from past abuse, then leave with the insight and tools to feel hopeful again. We believe everyone deserves a space to be truly seen and heard.
This October, we are raising support for our equine team. We have had several horses with major medical needs this summer. Your donation directly supports the care and shelter of our equine team members, thus investing in the children of our community to cultivate a brighter future. Join us in bridging the gap between hurting and healing, ensuring that no child has to walk this journey alone.
In March, one of our therapy horses, Alena, injured her eye. Since then, the veterinary expenses related to that injury have approached $10,000, creating a significant financial strain on our program. Because our work depends on the health and wellbeing of our equine partners, our operating costs already go far beyond those of a typical outpatient therapy practice.

In addition to Alena’s injury, we are also bearing the ongoing costs of daily animal care, facility maintenance, and office supplies. The funds collected from this fundraiser will directly help cover the expenses of Alena’s injury, daily care for the animals on the farm, facility maintenance, office supplies, and other essential needs that keep Harmony Farm operating. Our team wants to keep providing much-needed mental health services for this area, and we can only do that if this financial burden is lifted.
If you are able, please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser. Your support will help care for Alena, sustain the horses and the farm, and enable Harmony Farm to continue serving individuals and families in our community.
