As a board member at H.O.O.V.E.S., I’ve had the privilege of seeing firsthand the impact this work has on veterans and their families. The horses are an incredible part of that process. They meet people exactly where they are, and respond honestly to what someone is carrying beneath the surface. Watching veterans begin to soften, reconnect, and open up through those interactions is something that never stops being powerful to witness.
The combination of the horses and a thoughtfully designed curriculum makes this program so unique and effective. The structure creates a safe space for reflection, growth, and connection, while the horses bring those lessons to life. I’m proud to support an organization that brings those two elements together to help veterans rediscover resilience, purpose, and hope.
