I have been involved for 27 years as a volunteer with Miracles in Motion, our local accredited (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) organization . My 45+ years of professional experience in Mental Health as a Psych RN, therapist, and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner gives me a special outlook seeing the value of bringing horses and individuals with physical, emotional or cognitive issues together to build positive outcomes. Throughout my time at Miracles, I have been involved in a variety of roles and have seen the positive impact this connection can make for clients, their families, volunteers, veterans, first responders and visitors to our farm. In 2024, I became certified as a Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning as a means to continue building the Mental Health service at Miracles in Motion.
