Urban Horse Project

At Urban horse Project, we serve diverse children, youth and adults facing challenges in Metro Vancouver. 

Many come to us feeling stressed, anxious and isolated.  

As they spend time with our kind horses and our caring professional facilitators, participants build positive connections to nature, community and themselves, and discover their strengths. They tell us they love being with the horses and that they feel happy and calm in our programs. Many say that through the horses and our program curriculum, they are learning important things. 

This matters because when people feel calm, connected and capable, they can contribute more fully to their community and help build a better world. 

Your donation makes this possible. Donations support our inclusive free programs for youth, ethical horse care, and our ability to transport our horses right into the city to remove access barriers for urban youth.
