This May, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, we are proud to partner with Horses for Mental Health to share the work of Spirit Horse Ranch and the urgent needs of our community
We are raising critical funds in 2026 to sustain and expand our trauma informed equine assisted services for youth, families, and individuals across Maui and Molokai
While public attention has shifted, the reality on the ground has not
Families continue to face housing instability, financial strain, caregiver burnout, and rising anxiety in our youth
In our sessions each week, we see the ongoing impact of the Maui wildfires and recent Kona storms
Recovery is not linear, and the need for safe, grounded, nervous system based support remains urgent
Since opening our doors, Spirit Horse Ranch has provided more than 4,800 trauma informed sessions, serving wildfire survivors, at risk youth, caregivers, and first responders
Through a unique integration of Natural Lifemanship, HeartMath, Brainspotting, and equine assisted learning, we help individuals regulate their nervous systems, rebuild trust, strengthen family connection, and restore resilience
This work is powerful, but it is also fragile without support
Funds raised through this campaign will allow us to continue offering free and low cost sessions, care for our therapy horses, support our certified team, and expand access for underserved families across Maui and Molokai
