The Lance family cannot praise Nature’s Edge Therapy Center enough and are more than willing to stand up and help whenever they need it!

Nicco (then 4 yrs) and Libby (then 3 yrs) started at nature’s edge only able to use a few words and maybe 2 to 3 word sentences. During their time there they worked hard 2 times a week with the staff, volunteers, therapist- Becky and Courtney, and the amazing animals to help both of them meet their appropriate age milestones within a YEAR!

Nicco began 4K 2 months after they graduated and his entry test for reading comprehension score was 75% in the nation! That is mind blowing!!!!!!!!

The use hippo therapy as many know is an unconventional but effective way of speech therapy that isn’t covered by insurance. So many parents like us struggle to whatever is necessary to get help paying for this therapy that not only is successful by using the movement of a horse to engage sensory, neuromotor, and cognitive systems, improving functional outcomes but gives them the ability to communicate their wants and needs. It gives them the ability to have wishes, dreams and attain them without the deregulation and frustration of not having a voice.
