When I founded STAT® in 2007, I never imagined we would one day serve more than 11,000 individuals.

What began as a search for healing for my own child has grown into a community resource supporting Veterans, trauma survivors, children with disabilities, individuals in recovery, and families across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Today, our work includes trauma-informed ground-based equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy, as well as Hippotherapy and Adaptive Riding for individuals with physical and developmental challenges. Each program is designed to meet people where they are — emotionally, physically, and neurologically.

Nearly 98% of those we serve receive services at no cost.

Every donation ensures that no one is turned away because of finances — and that our horses remain healthy, safe, and cared for as essential partners in this work.
