I have been fortunate to serve alongside some of the most incredible people of character I could ever hope to meet or emulate. I have also seen many of them struggle in the wake of that service due to moral injury and trauma that are difficult to describe, comprehend or appreciate. While there are numerous programs that profess to help and serve our veterans, I am delighted to have found this program. I have witnessed firsthand how equine therapy saves lives and heals souls in ways other modalities simply cannot seem to replicate. Unless you have stood in the arena and seen the miracle taking place, it is hard to imagine. But I have seen it, and want to give others the opportunity to see it and share it with their loved ones and colleagues in need.
