Unbridled Spirit is a mission-strong nonprofit organization that provides a beautiful farm location for the horses who live there and for the people who visit. I am a volunteer there in a couple of different ways. I am learning to mentor students to share their emotional growth and challenges with the animals, bringing more peace and purpose to their challenging lives. I have seen how kids open up when they are with these animals–and also how they soak in the teachings of the instructors. They learn to sense a strong connection with a horse, to watch the horse for communication, to use this as a way to see into their personal lives and find possible solutions–all with the horse’s and mentor’s support. This work brings me such a glow as a volunteer. I learn about myself, too, as I experience these classes and get to know the horses better. On other days, I come to the farm with my Threshold singing team and sing healing songs to these horses, because as they help heal the humans, they can take on a lot of emotional weight. The farm obviously has a lot of expenses, and it is so important that it can keep functioning. That’s why I’m hoping you can contribute, even a small amount! And thank you so much.

Such a great cause.
Horses are amazing animals, therapeutic through and through. Especially with children, veterans and adults, those in need and those that give. Win, win!
This is so important! I’m grateful I can help. Can you join me?
