I chose to become an ambassador for H.O.O.V.E.S. through Horses for Mental Health because what this program gave me is something I believe deeply in passing forward to others. ❤️🐴
This program was more than just an experience for me — it became a turning point. It gave me space to process things I had carried for a long time, to understand myself better, and to recognize how much trauma, stress, and life experiences can shape the way we move through the world without even realizing it. The horses have a way of reflecting what we carry internally, and through that, they help create a kind of healing that feels natural, honest, and deeply impactful.
What H.O.O.V.E.S. did for me reached far beyond the time spent in the program. It helped strengthen my perspective, my family, and the way I continue to approach life. My husband also experienced this journey, and seeing the impact it has had across our family only made me believe in this mission even more.
I chose to become an ambassador because helping others find that same kind of healing is incredibly important to me. There are so many people silently carrying trauma, stress, grief, and struggles they may never fully speak about, and programs like this remind people they do not have to carry it alone.
If sharing my story helps someone take a step toward healing, ask for support, or simply realize there are resources that truly make a difference, then that matters.
Continuing to help others through this mission means something personal to me because I know firsthand how powerful healing can be when someone is finally given the right environment, the right support, and the chance to reconnect with themselves.
