Ride for Joy is a valuable and worthwhile organization. I am a volunteer there. I see skill building and the joy on the riders faces. Just getting up on a big horse is a challenge for some and the thrill of overcoming their fears to get on the horse build their confidence and self-esteem. Their lessons teach them to focus, to be physically coordinated, to follow directions, to trust themselves. I believe in this rare program. I see the need for financial support. I’m asking for a donation because it’s expensive to maintain a stable of well cared for horses, tack and staffing. Please donate. Any amount is helpful!

To support my daughter Jan Strook-Bracken’s efforts.
In honor of one of my dear friends Leo who passed away recently. Leo was a Vietnam Veteran. His life was hard, on so many levels. The day I took him to Ride for Joy was probably one of the best days of his life. I had never seen such joy on his face. This program is awesome!
