Helping to create spaces for our community to build stronger mental health through the power of Horses.
Susanna Farms has been in our family since the early 1930’s and horses have been an integral part since the very beginning. Growing up with horses, I was not at all conscious of all the powerful benefits they had in my life. And that impact has been in place for five generations on this farm.
To honor the legacy my grandparents and parents shared, we started the Susanna Farms Foundation, to share the healing power of horses with our community. I would be greatly appreciative of your support in this mission.
How your donation helps:
Continuing our proven programs:
- Youth Resilience: Funding our 8-week Growing Resilient Teens (GRT) program, where middle schoolers learn life-long habits through hands-on equine care.
- Adult Therapy: Facilitating our “Your Mental Health Matters” sessions, combining horse interaction with professional group therapy.
- Veterans Outreach: Supporting our “Cup of Joe” lunches with Veterans Path to Hope, providing local heroes a space for connection and mental health resources.
Launching new initiatives for this summer:
- Summer Teen Drop-In: We are raising funds to launch a new weekend program this June. It will provide a safe, outdoor space for teens to connect with peers and counselors to navigate emotional challenges.
Providing expert Animal Care:
- Our animal partners are the heart of this foundation. Your support ensures our horses and farm animals receive the highest quality nutrition, veterinary care, and specialized training required for them to serve in a therapeutic environment. By taking care of them, we ensure they are healthy and ready to take care of our community.
Would you consider making a donation to help us grow this mission? Every bit helps us open the farm gates a little wider.
Thank you so much for your support
