One Heart Wild has been advocating for animal and people through the powerful connection that happens in our relationship together for 10 years. As we learn more about the science of transspecies psychology, we understand more about why these important relational experiences are healing.
I am raising money to support the costs of animal care so that One Heart Wild can continue to offer a desperately needed nature based alternative to mental health services. The youth, teens, military families and adults who fill our waitlist are counting on us.
At a time when technology is impacting more and more areas of our lives, social connections and competency have dwindled, and loneliness is prevalent across the age span, our experiences with animals and nature help ground us in finding our way back to connection and healing.
