At Double Hearts Ranch, we believe healing happens in the presence of horses — in quiet moments of connection, trust, and understanding that words alone often cannot reach.
We are raising funds through the Horses for Mental Health Campaign to expand access to equine-assisted learning and wellness experiences for individuals and families across our rural Northeast Missouri communities. Many of those we serve — including youth, caregivers, couples, first responders, veterans, individuals with disabilities, neurodiverse participants, and those navigating anxiety, trauma, addiction, depression, stress, burnout, PTSD, emotional regulation challenges, relationship struggles, grief, or life transitions — face barriers to traditional mental health services due to cost, stigma, or access. Through adaptive equine experiences and accessible, ground-based programming, we create safe and inclusive opportunities for healing, growth, and connection regardless of physical, emotional, or cognitive ability.
In addition, we partner with corporate teams and business leaders seeking trauma-informed leadership development and workplace wellness experiences that foster healthier organizational cultures rooted in trust, communication, resilience, and emotional safety.
