I lost my son to suicide. Everyday I wish we had the resources to help him. I wish I had my son with me. We live in a high poverty area and being fully aware that with out the resources you need the outcome is devastating. In a mental health crisis needing help and somwhere to go that is safe and willing to help you feel better not just at the moment but long term is something we needed but it didn’t exist. Supporting those who suffer in silence and helping them with a comfortable safe place to talk, or just understanding with out judging means a lot to me. Supporting any program that helps fight against the stigma of Mental Illness is worthy of my time. Although my son may never benefit from healing with horses others will and that is worth supporting.
