This work didn’t start as a program. It started as a need.
There was a point where I understood what it feels like to lose direction, to carry more than you can process, and to keep moving anyway because that’s what you’re trained to do. On the outside, everything can look fine. On the inside, it’s a very different story.
The horses changed that for me.
Not because they fix anything, but because they respond in a way that doesn’t allow you to stay disconnected from yourself. They bring you back into something real. Something honest. And from that place, things can start to shift.
That experience became H.O.O.V.E.S.
What we do is create a space where veterans and first responders can step out of survival mode and begin to reconnect with themselves in a way that feels safe, grounded, and sustainable. No pressure. No performance. Just a process that allows them to regain control and return to their lives with clarity and strength.
I’ve watched people walk in carrying more than words can hold and leave with a completely different relationship to themselves and their future.
That’s why I do this.
And that’s why this campaign matters.
Every dollar raised helps us continue this work and reach the people who need it most.
