WHY ARE WE RAISING MONEY?

Because healing should not depend on someone’s ability to pay.

Since 2007, STAT® has served more than 11,000 individuals through trauma-informed equine programs. Nearly all of our participants receive services at no cost — including Veterans, justice-involved youth, children with disabilities, and individuals in recovery.

Our horses are rescued, rehabilitated, and carefully partnered in this work. They require daily care, feed, veterinary support, and safe facilities.

 

Your donation sustains both sides of the healing relationship — the human and the horse.

Latest Campaign Updates

When I founded STAT® in 2007, I never imagined we would one day serve more than 11,000 individuals.

What began as a search for healing for my own child has grown into a community resource supporting Veterans, trauma survivors, children with disabilities, individuals in recovery, and families across Southwestern Pennsylvania.

Today, our work includes trauma-informed ground-based equine-assisted learning and psychotherapy, as well as Hippotherapy and Adaptive Riding for individuals with physical and developmental challenges. Each program is designed to meet people where they are — emotionally, physically, and neurologically.

Nearly 98% of those we serve receive services at no cost.

Every donation ensures that no one is turned away because of finances — and that our horses remain healthy, safe, and cared for as essential partners in this work.

I am looking for people to support through a match of my $100 donation 🙂 I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF HORSES HEALING INVISIBLE WOUNDS – I am an Equine Specialist in the equine therapy industry and I see it EVERY DAY!!! Adjudicated youth, Veterans struggling with PTSD and complicated family situations, Individuals living with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Paralysis, and many more disorders and challenges. Equine Assisted Therapy and Equine Assisted Educational Services are highly highly transformative. Please match my donation!
