Celebrities Unite to Amplify Campaign By Horses For Mental Health

Nashville, Tenn. (May 1, 2025) – Latin Country artist MŌRIAH is joining horse-loving musicians, recording artists, athletes, journalists, actors, and world champion equestrians in the Fourth Annual Seen Through Horses Campaign to support Horses For Mental Health by amplifying awareness during Mental Health Awareness Month (May 1-31).

Since its launch in 2022, this trailblazing campaign has raised $1 million for nonprofit partners—fueling services that connect people to healing through horses. HMH has supported 205 organizations in 45 states, served 500+ veterans, mobilized 882 fundraising volunteers, inspired nearly 4,000 donors, and reached over 58 million people.

“Horses For Mental Health exists to increase awareness, access, and support for organizations incorporating horses for mental health and personal growth services. We’re honored to welcome 95 organizations participating in the 2025 Seen Through Horses Campaign—each on the front lines of this work, bringing healing, connection, and hope to communities through the powerful bond between humans and horses. We’re also thrilled with those sharing their voices to this cause!”  – Tyler Brklacich, Executive Director & Co-founder, Horses for Mental Health.

MŌRIAH, a recording artist, actress, and producer, has a passion for individuality, diversity, culture, and the peace and tranquility she finds spending time with horses.

“In today’s culture, especially for women, we’re told that when we feel, and if we feel too much, we are too much. Feeling is a superpower, and when I’m with a horse and I see how sensitive they are, I realize what a skill and what a strength that actually is,” says MŌRIAH. “ I feel so calm with horses because I know they’re not judging me for my sensitivity, and I think that that really helps promote mental health and my mental health. I love the Seen Through Horses campaign’s mission. It’s an amazing organization that helps promote the beauty that exists when a human and a horse get together.”

“It’s phenomenal how the Nashville entertainment community has embraced this mission. With Jackie Marushka’s adoration for horses and all animals, and her unparalleled compassion for anyone feeling the weight of today’s world on their shoulders, we’re thrilled to align with Marushka Media,”  says Shantel Klinger, HMH Creative Consultant and Celebrity Booking Producer.

Why Horses:

Unlike traditional talk therapy alone, horses offer nonjudgmental presence, immediate feedback, and authentic responses to human emotions. Their natural sensitivity to energy and intention reflects what we may be unconsciously communicating—opening doors to self-awareness, regulation, and deep emotional healing.
