Horses of Hope plays an intricate role in my daughter’s social development. Having autism, social situations and impulse control can be a struggle for her. I have seen firsthand the benefits of hippotherapy. My daughter finds Horses of Hope to be a peaceful place. While regulating her emotions in a safe environment, she learns how to care for the horses, and she has gained a greater sense of responsibility since she has been there. She is becoming more and more confident. When we are learning therapy, she gets in the vehicle and says, “I feel so much better now.”
