Support Our Organization

With the help of our equine partners, Ride for Joy brings life-changing equine-assisted services to children and adults with disabilities, veterans, foster youth, and individuals facing terminal illness. Located in Caldwell, Idaho, Ride for Joy is one of two centers in the state accredited by the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship, International.

At Ride for Joy, our team of horses and humans fosters health, healing, personal growth, and happiness for individuals of all ages and abilities. We’re making this happen by providing adaptive riding, horsemanship for veterans, and other programs and events throughout the year.

Transformative moments happen every week as our horses support and connect with participants, helping them on their journeys to greater physical, cognitive, social, and emotional well-being. Thank you for helping us bring wellness, empowerment, and joy to those experiencing disabilities, mental health challenges, and trauma.

  1. My husband was diagnosed with ALS. Ride For Joy has become the highlight of his week. It has helped strengthen the muscles in his legs and keeps them activated.
