At LEAD, we serve kids and families in Cullman and surrounding counties, who are navigating stress, trauma, and disrupted relationships.
Meaningful session time with horses creates an opportunity to slow down, feel safe, and develop the ability for self-regulation. Throughout these sessions, we witness participants develop resilience, overcome depression and anxiety, and build the necessary skills to have healthy relationships that thrive.
Many arrive feeling defeated, like nothing else has worked and they have no where else to turn. They leave LEAD with a renewed sense of hope, healing, and growth. They develop life skills with the horses that no person alone can provide.
Your donation makes it possible for children and families who can’t afford services to get help too! It will promote a scholarship fund for kids and teens in need, as well as provide for programming, and daily horse care. Our children are the future of this community and you can make a difference in their lives through donation.
During May, Mental Health Awareness Month, we’re participating in the Horses for Mental Health Campaign to raise awareness and support for this work in our community.
Your gift ensures that no child or family has to struggle alone.
