Change Your Lead

Our equine team members are the basis of the services we provide – we could not do this work without them. Their wellbeing is incredibly important to their ability to provide wellness experiences, healing and life change for humans.

While we often state the phrase “horses helping humans”, the reality is that we are also committed to “humans helping horses.” Most of our horses come from rescue or rehome situations where their fate and long-term safety plan were unknown. We are committed to providing for the safety and wellbeing of our herd for life when they come to Change Your Lead.

For the 2026 HMH campaign, we are raising funds to assist with veterinary & farrier care along with feed for our equine partners so that they can continue to do what they do best – support mental health and wellness services. Some of our ongoing expenses:

$25 – 1 bag of senior feed

$ 80 – one hoof trim

$125 – 5 bales of hay

$360/box of Adequan – 2x/year for Annabelle, Luckily & Paco

$445 – box of Prascend (Cushings disease) medicine for Annabelle, Duke, Luckily & Surprise
