For as long as I have known her (going on 20 years!), Kim and her family and dedicated staff have worked tirelessly to grow CTRP into a place of healing for so many. From a single barn and a couple of paddocks CTRP has blossomed into a safe space with a covered arena for year-round mounted and unmounted activities. A stable of kind, gentle mounts share their souls with children and adults alike, whose big grins and soft caresses show how magic time spent with a horse can be. But horses and ponies have constant needs–feed, hay, vet and hoof care–and grants never cover all that’s required to keep a therapy program running. Donations are a vital way to keep CTRP’s fences, fields and arena safe and welcoming for humans and equines alike and to cover the inevitable extraordinary vet bills and wind storm damage. Please join me and consider a tribute to these ponies’ quiet service to minds and bodies in need of healing and joy by donating to CTRP. No amount is too small – and the ponies thank you!
