We are raising money to support the ongoing work of the Flying Horse Foundation. This work is really personal to me because I’ve seen how impactful it can be when children and families are given the space to slow down, feel safe, and actually connect with themselves, with others and the horses.
We use equine-assisted learning as a way to help children and families build things like connection, awareness, resilience, empathy and self-regulation. What I love about it is that it’s not just talking but it’s experiencing them in real time. The horses have a way of teaching these things in a really honest and grounding way.
The money raised goes directly back into supporting the programs, the people we serve, and the care of the horses that make all of this possible.
