There’s something powerful that happens in the presence of a horse.
They don’t judge. They don’t rush. They meet you exactly where you are.

I’m partnering with Echo—a gentle, intuitive horse—and STEPS with Horses to raise funds that directly support equine-assisted mental health services for those who need it most.

Our Mission

To improve the mental health and well-being of military service members and their families, at-risk youth, and individuals facing mental health challenges through equine-assisted services. These include counseling and psychotherapy, therapeutic activities, education, community engagement, and research.

Why This Matters

Echo and I have seen first hand how this counseling works. We enjoy watching client’s find themselves, build their confidence, and learn new skills.

Traditional therapy doesn’t work for everyone.

But horses offer something different.

In equine-assisted counseling, healing happens through connection, trust, and presence. Horses like Echo have an incredible ability to reflect emotions, build resilience, and help people process experiences in ways words sometimes can’t.

Echo isn’t just a horse—she’s a partner in healing.

With her calm and intuitive nature, Echo helps clients feel safe, seen, and understood. Echo was once wild, and had to learn to trust humans in order to build connection. Because of this, she brings a unique and raw perspective on relationships.

But caring for a horse like Echo takes resources—and that’s where we need your help.

• Provide daily care for therapy horses like Echo (feed, veterinary care, shelter)
