As the Clinical Director and a therapist who incorporates horses in the work I do personally with individuals and groups, I am continually humbled by the transformations I witness day in and day out. I also have had the privilege of finding personal healing in the company of horses. In Step With Horses is located in Chesterland (Northeast) Ohio. We are a small non-profit who provides equine assisted services to people in our community in need of mental health support. As one can imagine, it can take a good deal of resources not only to keep up with horses and a barn, but also to be able to provide services to anyone who comes to us, regardless of their ability to pay. This year we are raising money to support the work our horses and human team provide. We are growing and with that growth comes the need for additional resources (horses and horse care, confidential spacing, scholarship opportunities to those in need, etc.).
