I’m honored to be part of the Horses for Mental Health campaign through Horse Time Equine Collaboration, an organization I proudly serve as a board member.
Horses have a way of reaching places within us that words simply cannot. They don’t judge, they don’t rush, and they don’t expect us to be anything other than exactly who we are in the moment. In their presence, something shifts—walls come down, hearts open, and healing begins.
Through my work at Misty Moor Farm and beyond, I’ve witnessed firsthand the powerful connection between horses and people. I’ve seen anxiety soften, confidence grow, and individuals—especially children—begin to trust themselves and the world around them again.
Mental health support is more important than ever, yet many people don’t have access to alternative, experiential approaches like equine-assisted interactions. This campaign helps bridge that gap—making these life-changing experiences more accessible to those who need them most.
I’m raising funds because I believe deeply in this work. I believe in the quiet wisdom of the horse. I believe in creating spaces where people feel safe, seen, and supported. And I believe that healing doesn’t always happen in traditional ways—it often happens in connection, in nature, and in relationship.
If you feel called, I invite you to support this mission. Every contribution helps bring hope, healing, and meaningful connection to someone who needs it.
