As a volunteer for Operation Second Stride I see and feel the benefits of this program first hand. I can not say enough good things about the team that makes this program special. The Nichols family, who are a family of first responders themselves, understand first hand the stresses involved with the job. The facilitators Sarah and Stacie tailor the program to the needs of each individual participant. But, the horses are the true stars of the program. Each of them has a unique personality that allows them to interact, regulate, and connect with the individual they are chosen by. The donation you make goes towards the care and feeding of the programs horses and scholarships for first responders participants.
