We often hear “we didn’t know you were here.” Strides to Success seems to be a hidden treasure serving both adults and children in Plainfield and the surrounding area. The mission of Strides is to provide experiences that promote learning opportunities that strengthen and develop lives, as well as encourage personal growth and development.
My journey with Strides began as a volunteer in the Fall of 2024 and by the Spring of 2025, I had been offered a position as a part-time office administrative assistant. One of the fun things I get to do is do mail out requested curriculum books to Equine Assisted facilities. These lesson plans are being used by facilities across our nation to implement on-site learning opportunities by encouraging personal growth and development in lives of many adults and children.
