Military mom is not a title you choose. It’s chosen for you. I am grateful and proud to have worn that title as the mom of an Army veteran and a Marine veteran. The challenges our veterans face are oftentimes hidden and not talked about. The help available is often not enough or is delayed.
I became a member of the Board of Directors of Compassionate Hearts a few years ago, because I’ve seen equine-assisted psychotherapy help people heal and grow. The money raised in this campaign will allow veterans, first responders, and others to access effective, healing treatment. It means that those who have served our country don’t have to worry about paying for treatment or experiencing delays.
Please help me reach my goal of $500. I’m asking for $25.00 donations, but any amount will help to pay for the cost of treatment.
Thank you!
