This Mental Health Awareness Month, I’m especially proud to support Horses for Mental Health. As the Executive Director of Hope Meadows, it means so much to me that our organization is part of this national movement to expand access to equine-assisted mental health care.
Every week at Hope Meadows, we witness the quiet but powerful transformation that happens when people connect with horses. Children struggling with anxiety, adults carrying trauma, veterans navigating life after service, and families in crisis often find something here that they have not found elsewhere — a sense of safety, regulation, and hope. Horses have an extraordinary ability to meet people exactly where they are, without judgment and without pressure.
Being part of the Horses for Mental Health campaign is deeply meaningful to me because it elevates this work on a national level and helps remove financial barriers for the individuals and families who need it most. When you support this campaign, you are helping ensure that more people can access innovative, effective mental health care when they need it most.
Thank you for being part of this movement with us. 💚
