As a therapist, I’ve worked with many families and kids/teens in an office setting. I’ve seen first hand that the office environment is not always conducive to change. At LEAD, you don’t have to worry about a crowded waiting room. You don’t worry about seeing a classmate or co-worker, or even telling others you’re going to therapy, because you can just say, “I went to the barn.” I’m passionate about providing hope and healing to those in need. I know from personal experience that you can find these things at the barn.
Our community is experiencing a mental health crisis. I see news of teen suicides almost daily. I don’t want my own daughter growing up in a world where she can’t get help. Instead, I want to normalize getting help. I want to normalize feeling down or anxious, so that people can freely admit it and learn what to do with it! So, I’m raising money for counseling scholarships and to care for the amazing animals and atmosphere that you get to experience at LEAD. Please, donate today to give personalized help to a child in need.
