Operation Horses Heal brings inclusive support to Veterans, active service members, and their immediate families through equine-related activities.
Our participation in the Horses for Mental Health campaign directly supports two critical initiatives that strengthen our ability to live out that mission—both now and in the future.
Program Expansion: Securing Land for a Permanent Home
To provide consistent, reliable programming, we must establish long-term stability. Currently, Operation Horses Heal does not own the land where services take place. While we are grateful for our current location, true sustainability requires permanence.
Through this campaign, we are raising funds to purchase land so we can:

Tracked Wheelchair: Expanding Accessibility on Hilly, Rocky Terrain
Inclusivity is central to our mission. However, our current property includes hilly, rocky terrain that a traditional wheelchair simply cannot navigate safely. This creates a barrier for Veterans with mobility challenges who want to fully participate in programming.
A tracked wheelchair, designed specifically for uneven and rugged ground, can navigate these conditions with ease. It will allow participants to independently access:

This investment removes a physical barrier and reinforces our commitment to inclusion. Every Veteran deserves full access—not partial participation.
